Yarden Brown Vineyard Syrah

is made from Syrah grapes grown exclusively in the Brown Vineyard, one of our finest vineyards, located in the northern Golan Heights at 1,040 meters above sea level and certified under the sustainable winegrowing standard. The vineyard is characterized by basalt soil mixed with tuff.

About the wine:

Yarden Brown Vineyard Syrah 2022 shows aromas of ripe black fruit, blending with pleasant notes of earth, tobacco, chocolate, smoked meat and hints of anise. This unique single-vineyard wine is full-bodied and rich in flavor – a worthy choice for special occasions.

The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, about 70% of them new. While it can be enjoyed upon release, it will continue to develop in the bottle in the coming years and remain in great condition for ten years or more from harvest.

It pairs wonderfully with beef medallions in a Syrah reduction, slow-cooked lamb osso buco in red wine sauce, or a beluga lentil stew with smoked paprika and herbs.
