Jool is Psagot Winery’s new premium wine, launched in honor of the opening of the new visitor center housed in a one-of-a-kind stone building in the Binyamin region. The grapes were hand-harvested from the winery’s finest vineyard plots in the Judean Hills, and the wine was aged for 24 months in new oak barrels.

The wine has aromas of rich fruit that blend well with balanced flavors. Jool is an aromatic wine with rich complexity and caressing elegance.

The idea for the wine was born from the desire to create a special, innovative, sparkling wine – a wine for a special occasion, an exceptional wine. The opening of the winery’s new visitor center was the perfect time to launch this great wine.

The challenge in creating Jool was to make a classic wine that is easy to connect with on the one hand, yet unique and standing out like a jewel on the other.

Jool contains powerful varieties with concentrated fruit flavors that express the Judean Hills growing region – an area with a distinctive, prominent terroir that comes through in this wine.

Psagot Winery and its vineyards, planted deep in the rocky soil of Binyamin,

are a continuation of a long chain of generations of fine winemaking,

in a region where conditions are optimal.

The winery was founded in 2003 and has grown steadily ever since. Today it produces

over 750,000 bottles, more than 70% of which

are exported to dozens of countries. Every year the winery’s wines win

medals and international awards at prestigious competitions around the world.

In June 2020, Psagot Winery moved to its new home at Sha’ar Binyamin.
