Psagot De’Vine 2023

79.90 ₪

De’Vine was created from the desire to make a quality Kiddush wine, so the winery produced a sweet version of the EDOM red blend, aged for a year in French oak barrels, by adding quality grape must. The semi-sweet wine contains qualities found in dry red wine but not in dessert wine. It has sweet aromas of red fruit, black fruit, black cherry, dark chocolate, espresso and warm spices – nutmeg and cinnamon. Medium-full body, with supporting acidity that keeps it light rather than heavy. On the palate: milk chocolate, black forest fruits, cherry and ripe red plum. It pairs well with blue and aged cheeses that are not too heavy, and goes great with fruit.

Psagot Winery and its vineyards, planted deep in the rocky soil of Binyamin,

are a continuation of a long chain of generations of fine winemaking,

in a region where conditions are optimal.

The winery was founded in 2003 and has grown steadily ever since. Today it produces

over 750,000 bottles, more than 70% of which

are exported to dozens of countries. Every year the winery’s wines win

medals and international awards at prestigious competitions around the world.

In June 2020, Psagot Winery moved to its new home at Sha’ar Binyamin.

A beautiful stone building houses the winemaking facility, and its impressive cellar

ages more than 1,000 barrels every year.
