HaMeara 2017

The iconic flagship wine of the boutique winery “HaMeara” (from Binyamina Wineries). Made in a classic Bordeaux-blend style, it comes from select grapes grown in mature vineyards in the Upper Galilee. The old vines grow on unique basalt soil and produce an especially low, concentrated yield. After a meticulous production process, the wine is aged for two years (24 months) in French oak barrels inside an ancient natural cave on Mount Horshan, which provides optimal humidity and temperature conditions. After bottling, the wine undergoes additional maturation in the bottle before release.
