It is made from Cenizo agave – a wild variety growing in extreme conditions of mineral soil and changing climate, giving it depth, power and exceptional character. Production follows traditional, artisanal methods, including cooking in underground ovens that give the mezcal delicate touches of smoke and rich, balanced flavors. The flavor profile features aromas of cooked agave, citrus and herbs, alongside deep flavors of honey, brown sugar, nuts, chocolate and spices, with a long, smooth and slightly smoky finish.

The alcohol content is usually about 44%, giving a noticeable yet pleasant presence.
