Primitivo Salento Ice

An innovative, refreshing take on Primitivo from the Salento region of southern Italy, created especially to be served chilled. The grapes are harvested early and fermented at low temperatures, giving the wine an especially fresh, fruity and approachable character. On the nose, aromas of wild strawberry, ripe cherry and red plum, with delicate hints of spice. On the palate, a medium body, soft tannins and a smooth texture with a long, fresh finish. Best served at 8–10°C – the thermochromic label changes color to show when the wine has reached the ideal serving temperature.
